It’s June. Families are already enjoying an easy-going Eastern Shore summer at Bay Creek. But we’re just too excited to slow down! The first half of 2019 has been a (record-breaking) whirlwind of activity here at Bay Creek.
When it comes to benchmarks, what we value most here is new neighbors. So, when we set out to share an update of Bay Creek’s ‘progress,’ we first thought of all the new friends and families who will soon be joining our community. Bay Creek’s newest (and soon-to-be) residents hail from many different places: Virginia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington DC, New York and Florida. We’re looking forward to welcoming them home to Bay Creek.
The entire Bay Creek community has been abuzz with activity.
Take a look at the excitement, by the numbers:
• We now have six homes under construction in Bayside Village.
• Three homes are currently in the design phase.
We’re excited to see these homes continue to progress—the designs are phenomenal and will add to the exuberant, colorful style of Bayside Village. If you haven’t taken a drive through Bayside Village lately, we highly recommend it. Besides the incredible Bay views and the Beach Club, you’ll be energized by all the fun and activity going on there. Kids are building sandcastles along the wide, private beach while custom builders set about building castles of a different sort—we love it!
Four homes are now in the design phase in Heron Pointe. Their Heron Pointe homesites await what are slated to be gorgeous homes in the near future. The larger estate-like home sites in Heron Pointe back up to either the Heron Pointe lake or the first three holes of the Palmer Signature® golf course. Fun fact for the neighborhood – the third hole of the Palmer course was one of Arnie’s favorite holes to play…not only is it a fun hole to play but the views of the Chesapeake Bay are beautiful.
One home is currently under construction and two are in the design phase in our golf-centered neighborhood, The Signature. Many of the homes in the Signature back up to the Palmer golf course. All of the streets in this neighborhood are named for the folks on Arnie’s team who assisted with the golf cart; Vicky Martz, Ed Seay and of Course, Arnie’s Loop
Two homes are now in design phase in The Hollies here at Bay Creek. Hollies neighborhood features many natural hollies. As a matter of fact, all of the streets are named after different species of hollies that were found in the area. This is, except for Blue Heaven, that was the lover’s lane when Bay Creek was Hollywood Farm
Marina Village East
One home is in the design phase in Marina Village East. Marina Village East features homes in the West Indies style with views of the adjacent marina and a short golf cart ride from Cape Charles Historic District
Two homes are currently under construction and one is now in the design phase in The Colony.
This neighborhood is part of Marina Villages with a private beach and homes will be built in the West Indies style.
As we mentioned, this year (and we’re only half way through) is a record breaker for custom construction at Bay Creek.
Since this is our official ‘Mid-year Update,’ we’ll put a number to it: this activity represents an estimated $17 Million in construction activity throughout Bay Creek. That’s big.
Since this is our home and passion, we’ll close by saying THANK YOU to all who have chosen to start your next great adventure here at Bay Creek. That’s priceless.
With best wishes for a breezy and beautiful Eastern Shore summer,
The Bay Creek Team.
